Workshop at the National Indigenous Trust and Investment Conference
May 13 - May 14
We will be hosting a workshop for trustees on Indigenous Trusts and Responsible Investment: Communicating expectations, measuring success at 3:00pm day one of NATOA’s 6th Annual National Indigenous Trust and Investment Conference at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, BC May 13 & 14, 2019.
The two day event is designed to provide an informative and interactive venue for all those involved with Indigenous trusts. Speakers will represent both the Indigenous communities who have established, or are in the process of establishing, trust operations, and members of corporate industry that effectively service these Communities.
The theme of this year’s conference is Investing In Traditional Values.
Indigenous communities in Canada and around the world are working diligently to be productive and vital leaders and partners within the economies of their regional areas and the national picture. Investing in our communities and economy means working with the traditional and unique cultural values of each of the varied Indigenous peoples across Canada. When we invest ourselves, we have the opportunity to utilize our own traditional and cultural values to generate much needed revenues to help our community meet the needs of its people, both now and for generations to come.
